Kain Fuery is the youngest member of Roy Mustang's unit and the only enlisted soldier in an otherwise officer-heavy group. He's best known for his expertise with radio communications—basically the tech backbone of Mustang's operations. Despite his soft-spoken demeanor, he's sharp where it counts.
Fuery's got a real soft spot for animals and people in general. He's the one who brought Black Hayate, the unit's dog, to Eastern Headquarters, though he was pretty uncomfortable watching Riza put the pup through her intense training methods. He cares about those around him and it shows.
Combat-wise, he's not a hand-to-hand fighter—that's not really his lane. But he can handle himself if he needs to, which doesn't happen often given his role. His value to the unit lies in what he does best: keeping communications running smoothly.
