Nora is a Second Lieutenant engineer stationed in Merida Island who specializes in Lambda Driver technology. She became crucial to MITHRIL's research efforts after the organization discovered that Amalgam's Arm Slaves could maintain continuous Lambda Driver operation—something their own units couldn't do. Her work focused on adapting and perfecting the technology for ongoing use.
Before that, she'd studied the Chodarl Arm Slave after MITHRIL captured it from Gauron. A MIT graduate, Nora took over as the lead engineer on the Arbalest following Bunny Morauta's death, becoming the AS's primary technical support.
The novels suggest she maintains a close personal relationship with Lieutenant Commander Kalinin.
