Not much is publicly known about Mecha's early life, though Tochiro Oyama once suggested he was decent enough as a regular human—probably even had a real name. Something changed after he got his mechanical body, though. He turned ruthless, started killing innocent people, and basically became so notorious that bounty hunters everywhere started coming after him.
