Major (Military Police)
A Military Police major in the Imperial Japanese Army, this guy's basically the definition of "fell from grace." He was stationed at the Imperial Embassy in the UK and carries one of those impressively long official titles—the kind that makes you sound important at parties. He's an elite Military Academy graduate, which he will absolutely remind you about because he's genuinely proud of it. Arrogant, short in stature, and prone to being kind of a jerk as a high-ranking bureaucrat, he embodied that whole insufferable elite officer vibe.
Then everything went sideways. While escorting a vampire infected with the V-virus, he and his colleague Kurusu got infected too. The kicker? The source was an unranked vampire. So despite all his rank and credentials, he became unranked himself. It's a pretty spectacular fall from elite status.
These days he's actually kind of charming as a vampire, which is funny considering how much of a snob he used to be. Ability-wise, he's genuinely below average—weak muscles, low instantaneous power, the works. But he's got something special nobody else has: a stigmata on his wrist that marks him as distinctly different.
His one genuinely good thing? His wife, Tomiko. She's very loving, and he clearly doesn't deserve her.
