Kaijuu No. 9 stands out as one of the most formidable kaiju around. What makes it particularly dangerous is its ability to shapeshift into a human form—specifically a tall guy with slicked-back hair and an unsettling blank stare. It's used this disguise to infiltrate Monster Sweeper Inc., the very cleanup company where Kafka and Reno used to work.
The creature is remarkably cold and emotionless, driven almost entirely by whatever goals it's fixated on. It doesn't waste energy on feelings or hesitation. Its arsenal is equally impressive: superhuman speed, near-indestructible durability, shapeshifting, the ability to fire projectiles, and the power to resurrect other kaiju. That last ability alone makes it a serious threat to anyone trying to take it down.
