A fourth-year timpanist with serious claustrophobia who's earned the nickname "Queen of Percussion"—and he wears it well. He's an okama, identifying as female despite his male body, and he doesn't apologize for it. His main issue? He's got it bad for Chiaki, and when Nodame starts hanging around, things get messy. He basically treats her as a rival and doesn't hold back on the bullying, extending that hostility to anyone else who gets too close to Chiaki. Despite—or maybe because of—his particular brand of chaos, he's genuinely talented at what he does. Talented enough to land spots in both Chiaki's S Orchestra and R☆S Orchestra. His percussion skills are legitimately exceptional, which is probably why people tolerate his drama in the first place.
