Kuro is the former captain of the Black Cat Pirates, best known for his elaborate strategic mind—so much so that he earned the nickname "Kuro of the Thousand Plans." His schemes rarely, if ever, fail, making him the second most intelligent person in the entire East Blue, just behind Ben Beckman.
What really sets him apart is his superhuman speed. When he goes full throttle, he becomes little more than a blur to observers, with the only real evidence of his presence being the damage he leaves behind. His signature move is called Shakushi (Death Scoop), a devastating technique where he sweeps his claws across a wide area at blinding speed. The problem? At that velocity, he can't actually see what he's hitting—so anything and anyone in his path gets torn apart indiscriminately, including his own crew members.
Speed-wise, the Shakushi travels at roughly the same pace as the CP9's Soru technique, but that's where the comparison ends. CP9 operatives have trained themselves to maintain control and precision while using Soru. Kuro, on the other hand, sacrifices awareness for raw destructive power.
