Mamedanuki is a small tanuki youkai who serves as Yamaguchi Reijin Hall's gatekeeper. Though he is supposedly over 200 years old, he is still a child. He disguised himself as an oni and tried to scare Nurarihyon, but was quickly found out. He can tell if something is foreign to Shikoku by scent.
