Her hatred of science and technology runs deep—it stems from a childhood tragedy at an amusement park where her brother died in an accident. That loss shaped her entire worldview.
In combat, she relies on two main abilities. Her signature spell, "Divine Punishment," strips away consciousness from anyone harboring evil intent toward her. She also conjures hammers made of pure air to pummel opponents.
She first appears in the 11th novel, but makes a major move during the events of the 12th, invading Academy City specifically to kill Tōma. The attempt fails thanks to Hyōka entering FUZE=Kazakiri mode and Amata Kihara's intervention—she gets defeated by Tōma himself but is rescued by Acqua before things get worse. Later, during the Third World War, she resurfaces hunting down Fiamma, driven by the Vatican's sense of betrayal.
