She's one of Aoba's classmates—and also a time traveler from 2088. She came back to his present day specifically to protect him from the Great Zogilia forces, who were sent from her time to assassinate him. The whole thing's pretty wild: she knew this attack was coming because future-Aoba had warned her about it. To actually defend him when the time came, she brought her own Valiancer mech back through time so she could fight off the enemy machine that showed up to kill him.
