What really stands out about him is his sheer strength, though he's also surprisingly composed and serious-minded. He actually called out Blackbeard for being too carefree after the crew botched their attempt to capture Luffy, which tells you something about how he approaches things. He serves as the helmsman of the Blackbeard Pirates.
