Keiko is Kanji's younger sister and a classic kogal who's pretty open about her crush on Kousaka—something Saki definitely isn't thrilled about. She's got this funny dynamic where she tries to break into otaku culture, and she actually does get into some of the doujinshi Ohno lends her, which is kind of endearing.
By volume 6, Keiko moves in with Kanji to study for Shiiou University's entrance exam. She doesn't make it there, but she lands at Ohka Business College instead, which works out anyway—mainly because it gets her closer to Kousaka and, more importantly, close enough to finally join Genshiken. Her whole reason for going to college in the first place is basically to be near him and be part of the club.
