Connie is an American astronaut currently stationed on the International Space Station with Russian cosmonauts Darya Nikitina and Yakov Nikitin. She's best known for being one of the few humans to witness the petrification event that transformed all surface life on Earth into stone—a catastrophic event she observed from orbit.
