Affiliation: Seika's Band (former member, guitarist), STARRY
Nijika's older sister. The two weren't particularly close growing up, but after their mother passed away and their dad was constantly traveling for work, they leaned on each other and became genuinely close.
She owns and runs STARRY, a live house with their family apartment built right above it. Between managing the venue and dealing with her packed schedule, Seika's pretty useless at everyday stuff—cooking, cleaning, that sort of thing—so Nijika ends up handling most of the housework.
Nijika describes her as a classic tsundere with a brutal edge: she comes across as cold and critical toward both Kessoku Band and her sister, but it's clear she actually cares deeply about both. The problem is she's not great at showing it. Like, she literally saved a concert slot for Kessoku Band at STARRY even though she'd just told them they weren't good enough.
Seika used to be the lead guitarist in a band before she quit, claiming she just lost interest. But Nijika's pretty sure the real reason Seika opened STARRY was for her—back when their parents weren't really around, Seika would drag Nijika along to concerts, and those are some of Nijika's best memories. Seika would die before admitting that out loud.
During college, she was friends with and something of a mentor to Kikuri Hyori, and she's basically the reason Kikuri got into rock music in the first place. Seika's always been wary of Kikuri and isn't shy about calling her out when needed (like when she and Ryo borrowed money and dragged their feet on paying it back). That said, she clearly has her back—lets Kikuri shower at their place, lets her crash there when she needs it. She's also not a fan of how much Kikuri drinks.
