"Kid" Mushanokoji—who ditched his real name after leaving home—is the son of an Olympic gold medalist in pistol shooting. His father raised him to win at all costs, which meant crushing disappointment followed every loss. That brutal pressure eventually drove him away.
His shooting background shows up in his signature move: the "Quick-Draw Pass," a ridiculous 0.15-second throw that uses both hands to create a tight spiral. It's basically a cheat code when paired with his childhood friend Tetsuma, who's mechanical enough to stick to any predetermined route and catch whatever Kid hurls at him on time.
Kid's got this fatalistic thing going on.
