Myotismon is an Undead Digimon with a design inspired by vampires and demons—its English name actually comes from the greater mouse-eared bat. It's basically the king of all Undead Digimon, brought back through dark magic and loaded with serious power to match its status.
Before it became what it is now, Myotismon was a ruthless computer virus that destroyed any data it touched. The twisted part is that it could revive that same destroyed data as new malignant viruses, making it endlessly destructive. Combined with a personality that's both cruel and cunning, Myotismon earned a reputation as one of the hardest Digimon to actually take down.
That said, it's not invincible. Myotismon is basically nocturnal—it can't use its full powers during the day, and its strength drops by half in daylight. Nighttime is when it's truly dangerous.
