Ōtomo Ryūzaburō (also romanized as Otomo Ryuzaburo) is a Japanese voice actor and actor from Tokyo. He's been with Aoni Production since December 2006, though he previously worked at 81 Produce and the Tokyo Actor's Consumer's Cooperative Society.
Known for his distinctive low voice and sharp, shrill laugh, Ootomo gravitates toward specific character types—the calm, the brutal, the untrustworthy. His most recognizable roles include Lord Giri, the sorcerer from Mahoujin Guru Guru, and Juusan Saejima in Brave Police J-Decker. He's also taken on several roles left vacant by other voice actors' deaths, including work previously handled by Shigezou Sasaoka and Eiji Kanie.
On the non-acting side, Ootomo became the narrator for the variety show Hey! Spring of Trivia in May 2007, stepping in after Shinji Nakae.
