Carne is one of the Baratie's core chefs and a close friend of Patty—they joined the floating restaurant together. The two became crucial during the Krieg Pirates' assault on the ship, stepping up to defend their workplace when Don Krieg tried to seize control.
Like his colleagues at the Baratie, Carne takes pride in being a fighting chef. He's willing to grab a weapon when needed, and fights with a large extended knife. When the armada attacked, he and the other kitchen staff didn't hesitate to meet the threat head-on.
In the 4Kids English dub, he's given a thick Mexican accent reminiscent of Cheech Marin—a pretty distinctive choice for the character.
