Watt is the Nasa Aliens' best wide receiver and pulls double duty as the team's translator—though calling him a Japan scholar is generous. He's basically an otaku with misconceptions about Japanese culture, well-meaning but prone to getting translations hilariously wrong. Fans won't be surprised if he gets corrected. His whole Japan obsession traces back to meeting Kakei Shun during his Phoenix Junior High days, before he landed at Kyoushin.
On the field, Watt's got an almost freakish ability to calculate the landing point on Homer's Shuttle Pass—basically he reads it like Mission Control reads a space trajectory.
Off the field, he's comfortable around computers and has a habit of stumbling onto random stuff online (like that disrespectful video of Coach Apollo). He's also genuinely skilled at video games, which tracks given how much time he apparently spends on the internet.
