Monokuma is the series' main antagonist—a remote-controlled teddy bear who claims to be Hope's Peak Academy's principal and forces the students into a killing game. He's got that iconic split design: cute white bear on one side, sadistic black bear on the other, which honestly matches his whole vibe perfectly. Multiple copies of him are scattered around the academy, and he won't hesitate to execute anyone who attacks him or breaks his rules. The real mystery, though, is who's actually pulling his strings and why they gathered these students in the first place. That's basically what drives the whole series.
