Chie is a reporter for Toyo Television who became the sole survivor of an expedition crew sent to investigate Kurouzu-cho. She's best known for being one of the few outsiders to witness the town's horrific secrets firsthand and make it out alive—though "make it out" might be generous depending on what happened to her afterward.
