Hideyoshi is Ken Kaneki's best friend—basically his anchor to normal life. What makes Hide stand out is his almost unsettling ability to read people. He picks up on details others miss and can piece together what's going on in someone's head with surprising accuracy, which fans often compare to Sherlock-level deduction.
He's the type who gets intensely focused on whatever catches his attention, throwing himself into it completely until something else grabs his interest and he moves on. It's classic Hide—passionate but restless.
