Jun was a third-year center fielder at Seidou High School and basically the heart of the team—the loudest, most energetic guy on the roster who kept everyone's spirits up. His yelling during games actually worked; teammates fed off that energy. He was genuinely skilled too, not just a hype man. His defense in center field was top-notch, and he could hit with the best of them. Along with Masuko, he served as vice captain, helping lead the team alongside the main captain.
