Misaka 9982 is a character from Toaru Kagaku no Railgun, notable for being the first clone of Mikoto ever introduced to her original. She's part of the Radio Noise Project—essentially cannon fodder designed for Accelerator to kill as he attempts to reach Level 6.
What set her apart from the other clones was her curiosity about the outside world and a sharp, sarcastic personality. She had strong opinions about everything, especially food and tea preparation, and wasn't shy about delivering lengthy critiques. Her real dream, though, was meeting her "older sister" Mikoto, the person she was cloned from. Their first meeting was awkward—9982 refused to explain what the Sisters were actually part of—but they bonded after Mikoto gave her a Gekota badge.
9982 was created three months before meeting Mikoto. Like all the clones, she started with the mental development of a newborn, which was corrected through the Testament machine. After that, she had her first cup of tea with one of the female researchers and immediately complained about how badly it was made, lecturing the professor on proper brewing technique. She was fascinated by the prospect of being moved to the outside world and felt confident her training had prepared her for it. The researchers also mentioned she'd probably get to meet her onee-sama.
Near the end, she was ordered to clean a room full of dead clone bodies left behind by the experiment. She complied without complaint.
