Ninjin's name is literally the Japanese word for carrot, which makes sense given that his hair actually looks like one. His spiky orange hair covers his eyes most of the time, though they pop out dramatically whenever he gets surprised. He's got freckles scattered across his face too.
Before Usopp joined up with Luffy, Ninjin was part of Usopp's Pirates. He fights with a frying pan as his weapon of choice. As for the future, he dreams of opening a bar when he grows up—though different versions of the story have twisted this around. The 4Kids dub changed it to a vegetable restaurant, and the video game One Piece: Unlimited Adventure went with a nightclub instead.
