Tamanegi, known as Onion in English releases, was one of Usopp's earliest crew members alongside Ninjin and Piman. He fights with a small shovel and dreams of becoming an author someday. He stuck with Usopp's Pirates before the group eventually disbanded when Usopp joined up with Luffy and the Straw Hats.
