Cavendish is a Super Rookie who captains the Beautiful Pirates. He's competing in the Corrida Colosseum tournament with his sights set on winning the Mera Mera no Mi. Before that, he made a name for himself as a gladiator, which is pretty much where his whole deal comes from—he's got that showman energy that comes with fighting in an arena for an audience.
