Groudon is a massive, bipedal dinosaur-like Pokémon covered in thick, lava-resistant red plating that serves as armor. Primal Reversion
Groudon can undergo Primal Reversion to become Primal Groudon, its true and original form. The transformation makes it larger and shifts its coloring from dark red to deep crimson, with its underside, spikes, and teeth turning black. The tail blades spread farther apart, and an Ω symbol appears on its arms. Most impressively, its eyes, mouth interior, and the enlarged gaps between its armor plating glow bright yellow, with red irises.
At full power in this state, Primal Groudon radiates so much heat that its body constantly shimmers. In the anime, it's said to literally create new land with every step. The form is fueled by primal energy from deep within the earth—ancient power that emerged during Hoenn's distant past. Primal Groudon needs to continuously feed on this energy to maintain the form. Together with Primal Kyogre, it has the potential to completely destabilize the planet's balance and threaten its very existence.
