The founder of the Vers Empire and Princess Asseylum's grandfather. He established the empire in 1972 after the Aldnoah technology recognized him as its master—a connection literally burned into his genetics, granting him absolute control over the ancient weapons. This genetic authority passes down through his bloodline, though he can also grant limited Aldnoah powers to others, a privilege he used strategically to create the Martian Knights, a loyal warrior class he built the empire's entire military structure around.
He stepped down from power in 1997 due to declining health, but his retirement was short-lived. When his son and heir Gilzeria was killed during the 1999 war, he was forced back to the throne to stabilize the empire.
