Yui Yuigahama is Hachiman Hikigaya's classmate at Sōbu High School. She was the first person the Volunteer Service Club helped and eventually became its third member.
Yui comes across as perpetually cheerful and outgoing—the type who almost always has a genuine smile on her face, even when things are bothering her. Her real strength is her social awareness. She picks up on people's moods instantly and has a talent for putting others at ease just by being present. While some dismiss her as ditzy, which fair, she's actually sharp where it counts: she aced the entrance exam to get into Sōbu, proving her academics are solid.
