Nyako is a cat that belonged to Power. Power originally brought Nyako in with the plan to fatten her up for food, but ended up getting attached instead—they stayed together for a long time after that. Things took a turn when the Bat Devil captured Nyako and basically held her hostage, demanding that Power bring him a human in exchange for the cat's safe return.
