Devil Fruit: Jiki Jiki no Mi (Magnet-Magnet Fruit)
Type: Paramecia
Bounty: 470,000,000
Eustass Kid is one of the Eleven Supernovas—those infamous pirates who showed up on Sabaody Archipelago with bounties over 100 million. His bounty sits near the top of the series, second only to Luffy's, though it's gotten there through a brutal method: his crew has racked up massive civilian casualties. Kid himself doesn't seem bothered by this reputation.
Visually, he's hard to miss. He's got pale skin, no eyebrows, and dark lips, with black-painted nails. His hair is a flame-red crimson that stands up wildly, and he wears square-framed goggles attached to a nose guard that covers his actual nose—the whole look screams heavy metal musician. Around his waist is a bright blue scarf and belt loaded with knives and what looks like a gun, and he's got gold bracelets on both wrists. His signature piece is a spiked captain's coat that he wears with one arm in the sleeve and the other tucked underneath, giving him an oddly casual vibe for someone so dangerous.
Personality-wise, Kid is volatile. He's usually angry or cracking sarcastic jokes, and he has a hair-trigger temper—he once attacked Scratchmen Apoo just for staring at him. That said, he's smart enough to know when to pull back in a serious situation. What's interesting is that despite his violence, he's got a moral compass of sorts; he's noted that World Nobles are genuinely worse than pirates, and that pirates at least have their good points.
Kid shares Luffy's dream of finding One Piece and becoming Pirate King, which apparently earns Luffy a fair amount of respect from him. He admires Luffy's recklessness and conviction. Where they differ is execution—Kid handles obstacles his own way, and he seems to believe that sheer determination to do the impossible is what keeps you alive in the New World. He's reportedly killed everyone who laughed at his ambitions. Killer, his first mate, treats him with a casual friendliness that mirrors how the Straw Hats interact with Luffy, suggesting Kid commands genuine loyalty rather than just fear.
