A Chimera created by Greed through fusion with a dog, though he's managed to keep his human form intact—unlike Nina. The dog DNA gives him serious advantages: enhanced speed, a sense of smell that far outpaces any normal person, and reflexes that complement his already solid swordsmanship. He's acknowledged his own weakness though, admitting he's "too loyal for his own good."
In the manga, he's basically the comic relief of the group. There's a memorable running gag where Martel (trapped inside Al's body at the time) catches him peeing like an actual dog, leg up in the air and all. He wasn't involved in the Ishval conflict, but he did see action during the war in Aerugo.
