Deep Blue is the main antagonist of the Mew Mew Power dub, serving as the leader of the alien invasion and the driving force behind their return to Earth. What's interesting about his character is that his English name stayed the same across versions, unlike most of the cast—but the dub completely flipped his role. In the original, he's positioned as more of a savior figure for his species, but the English adaptation reimagined him as a destructive force hell-bent on destroying Earth, which naturally turns everyone against him.
