Rokuro is an oni student at Rakshasa Academy, where he's training to take down the Momotaro Clan. His whole journey there stems from tragedy—he and his girlfriend Ruru used to live peacefully together, but when the Momotarou group attacked their isolated village, they killed the doctor who was treating Ruru's mysterious illness. Without medical help, her condition worsened, and she died in Rokuro's arms. The experience shattered him, turning the once-fearless oni into an anxious, broken shell of himself.
Everything changes when Rokuro finally taps into his blood power. The awakening brings forth memories of Ruru, and with them comes a complete transformation—he reclaims his strength and resolve, becoming the unwavering fighter he was always meant to be.
