A taciturn linebacker for the Oujouu White Knights who's best known as Sena Kobayakawa's main rival. Shin doesn't come across as particularly social, but he's genuinely close with his teammates Haruto Sakuraba and Makoto Ootawara. Coach Shoji Gunpei spotted his potential immediately during tryouts alongside Sakuraba and made it clear to the upperclassmen that Shin needed to stay locked into the football club—no poaching by other teams allowed.
