Pinako Rockbell is Winry's grandmother and a longtime Risembool resident who basically raised Edward and Alphonse after their mother's death. She's got a sharp mind despite her age and genuinely cares for both brothers—they're practically family to her at this point.
Before all that, she and Hohenheim were drinking buddies back in the day. She's actually the one who introduced him to Trisha, which means she's kind of responsible for kickstarting the whole Elric family drama in a roundabout way. Not that she'd dwell on it.
