Panda is a second-year student at Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, though his enrollment comes with a pretty major caveat: he's not actually a panda. He's a Cursed Corpse that Masamichi Yaga created through a technique called Abrupt Mutation—which explains why he's, you know, a giant talking panda.
Despite the obvious visual situation, Panda's got a genuinely chill personality. He's upbeat, funny in his own way, and basically unbothered by most things. What's interesting about him is that he doesn't seem interested in trying to pass as human or fit in that way. He's content being exactly what he is—a panda—while still respecting humans as a species, even if he does find them kind of bizarre creatures overall.
The height difference between him and his classmates is pretty wild. He towers over everyone, which tracks when you're literally a fully-grown panda-shaped being walking around a school.
