Juri manages the Spiders and goes way back with Kotaro—they're childhood friends. She's basically the person stuck in the middle whenever Kotaro and Akaba are at each other's throats, which happens pretty often. What's funny is she's clearly picked up on the fact that those two are basically the same person when it comes to weird behavior and obsessing over winning. They just express it differently, which is probably why they clash so much.
