Arthur's the deputy captain of the Minerva and basically Talia's right hand, though he's the first to admit he doesn't have her experience or tactical instincts. He gets genuinely confused by some of her calls—they can seem pretty reckless on the surface—but he's got enough trust in her to roll with it anyway. He's friendly and easygoing with the crew, especially the pilots like Shinn, which makes him solid at keeping morale up even when things get tense. Reliable is probably the word that sums him up best.
