Mizuki starts out as one of Chidori's classmates with a serious grudge—she's convinced Chidori stole her boyfriend. The two eventually move past it and become genuine friends as the series goes on. She's got a reputation for falling hard for guys pretty easily, though it never seems to work out in her favor; the men she's interested in tend to end up drawn to Kaname instead, which is kind of a running joke at her expense.
