Wakamatsu is Touou's starting center and a second-year regular. He's known for being loud and quick to anger—pretty much the opposite of cool and collected. At 193 cm, he's got the size to back up solid defensive work and grab rebounds without much trouble.
The thing about Wakamatsu is his beef with Aomine. He can't stand how Aomine coasts through games and gets away with it, and he's vocal about it. Part of it's probably jealousy, but he's also genuinely frustrated about what he sees as a threat to the team's chances. It's a real sore spot for him.
