Zora Ideale serves in both the Black Bulls and the Royal Knight squads. His drive to join the magic knights stems from a tragedy: his father, a groundbreaking commoner who became a magic knight, was killed by his own squad mates—who laughed about it afterward. Overhearing this, Zora swore he'd avenge his father by hunting down corrupt knights.
He initially infiltrated the Royal Knight selection exams with revenge in mind, determined to take down as many dirty knights as he could. But everything shifted when he met Asta, a commoner with zero magical ability who refused to quit. Seeing that kind of determination in someone like himself changed Zora's outlook. He found where he actually belonged by joining the Black Bulls, where he now fights to defend the Clover Kingdom alongside people he trusts.
