He's hard to miss—a tall blond guy with an obsession for bright, flashy clothes that'd make most people squint. His pink feathered coat is basically his signature look, fitting with his whole flamingo thing. He's known for that distinctive bow-legged waddle, though he doesn't always do it. Twenty-two years back, he had longer hair, rocked dual earrings, wore goggles on his forehead, and paired it all with the sunglasses he still sports today. His outfit usually consists of a white shirt with red stripes, green belt, and orange pants with white stripes. (The anime originally went with a red shirt, purple belt, and black pants, but switched to the manga colors when he showed up at Sabaody—though his glasses stayed purple-tinted in the show while the manga gave him orange ones.) One thing that never changes: he's almost always grinning. What really defines Doflamingo is how little he takes seriously. The guy's basically fearless, openly mocking high-ranking marines and showing up to the Shichibukai meeting just to sit on the table like he owns the place. He speaks in dramatic flourishes and poses constantly when making declarations, and during the Battle of Marineford, it was clear everything he did was purely for his own amusement—which says a lot about his sadistic streak. He's also got this weird habit of sitting in the most uncomfortable-looking positions imaginable: chair backs, tables, barrels, even piles of bodies during fights. But he does it all with that same unbothered smile.
