Habolg is a renowned Black Whistle best known for delivering Lyza's White Whistle and final notes to the surface. The kids at the orphanage call him Habo-san.
He was among the delvers sent after Riko and Regu when they fled into the abyss. He caught up to them fairly quickly, and though Nat and Shiggy convinced him to show some respect to Regu (calling him the Supreme Treasure of the Netherworld), Habolg didn't drag them back topside. Instead, he offered to escort them as far as the Seeker Camp. Before letting them continue deeper, he warned Riko about Ozen, handed over some medicine and supplies, then let them go their own way.
He hasn't directly crossed paths with Riko or Regu since, but he's become a familiar presence on the surface, telling Nat and Shiggy stories about the abyss and what lives down there. Fans note these conversations tend to foreshadow the exact dangers the two kids will eventually run into.
