A shy classmate of Ichigo and Orihime with short brown hair. She's easily spooked by people who don't smile much—Ichigo and Uryū especially intimidate her—though she did work up the courage once to hand Uryū one of her broken dolls and ask him to fix it. Like Orihime, she's also on the receiving end of Chizuru's relentless flirting.
During the Fake Karakura Town arc, she gets caught up in the chaos alongside Chizuru, knocked unconscious. But while Chizuru eventually comes to, Michiru never wakes up through the entire ordeal.
