X. Drake is a former Marine Rear Admiral who turned pirate and now captains the Drake Pirates. He's one of eleven pirates dubbed "The Eleven Supernovas" when they showed up on Sabaody Archipelago with bounties over 100 million—a pretty big deal in the pirate world.
Visually, Drake is hard to miss. He's got this distinctive bicorne hat that kind of looks like a pterodactyl's head when you see it from above, combined with a face mask. His defining feature is the large "X" marked on his broad chin and another across his chest and upper body. He dresses in leather—pants and shirt—under heavy armor plating on his legs and arms, complete with knee-high boots and long gloves. A black cape with a crimson lining and fur collar rounds out the look. A massive ornate belt buckle holds everything together.
Drake isn't the type to start fights just for the sake of it; he's surprisingly calculated about violence, actually. That said, he can definitely handle himself. He carries a four-bladed axe and is solid with a rapier, skilled enough that he's interrupted fights between other Supernovas with a single move. His physical strength is legit too—he's kicked aside a Pacifista clone of Bartholomew Kuma without much trouble.
What really sets Drake apart is his background. As a former Marine, he has insider knowledge of how the World Government operates, which gives him a major advantage in predicting Marine movements and staying a step ahead. He's clearly aware of both the Pacifistas and Vegapunk's involvement in their creation.
