After taking a serious beating from Accelerator, he decided to hire the mercenary Stephanie Gorgeouspalace to kill him in revenge. That plan fell apart when Stephanie discovered that one of her friends had been hurt by an ITEM member—and traced the money back to him. Instead of going after Accelerator, she turned on her employer.
