Position: Defensive Lineman
Jersey Number: 66
Bench Press: 120 kgIkari Daigo earned his notorious nickname "Prison Chain" for good reason—the guy's basically kept in chains because he can't control his temper. A silver-haired freshman on the White Knights' defensive line, he plays alongside Ootawara and takes his school pride way too seriously. The chain thing isn't just flavor; it's necessary. He has zero respect for the legendary "Golden Generation" players since he never got to suit up with them.
His debut season was rough. He got ejected from his first game against Sankaku for attacking their coach after the guy trash-talked Sakuraba. Things didn't improve—by the time Ojo faced Deimon in the semifinal, Ikari still hadn't played a single down because of his anger issues, despite having serious talent. The one person he actually respects is Shouji, the team's coach.
Everything changes in the Deimon matchup. Shin pushes to let Ikari loose with the rest of the Knights, and somehow the guy actually breaks free from his chains on his own. Finally gets his shot.
What's interesting is that Juumonji recognizes him from middle school, where Ikari was already infamous—chain draped over his shoulder, so intimidating nobody went near him. Ikari claims he never started fights during his four years at Ojo, which is complete BS; anger problems meant he spent half his time suspended. But once he heard about Ojo's elite legacy, he showed up ready to be part of something bigger.
