Galley is a pirate best known for his distinctive crescent mustache. In Romance Dawn v.1, he's introduced as one of the "Big Three" pirates—supposedly powerful, though he's completely outmatched by Luffy.

The anime adapts a version of Galley for the Lougetown arc, reimagining him as an elderly pirate called Galley of the Crescent Moon with a bounty of 3,450,000. He and his crew are shown raiding the town before getting captured by Captain Smoker, though his design and flag clearly reference the original manga character.
